Zeller Corp. Ranked #8 in Top 100 Rochester Companies
Rochester, NY-Zeller Corporation, an engineering services firm and distributor of electrical components, ranked #8 in Rochester, New York’s 2005 Top 100 companies. According to Paul J. Galioto, President of Zeller Electric, this is the 8th year the company has made the list. “What’s really notable this year,” Galioto said, “was moving from the 73 spot last year to #8 this year.”
“We’re thrilled to earn such high marks in this highly coveted recognition program,” noted Zeller Corporation’s CEO, Gary J. Haseley. “It has such a positive impact on every facet of our business. We’ve all been basking in the recognition this week. As we should,” he added. “Our ongoing growth and increasing revenues are due to a lot of hard work and our employees’ commitment to giving our customers what they need.”
This is the 19th year of The Rochester Top 100, which ranks privately held companies based on three years of revenue growth. Rankings take both dollar and percentage growth into account.
The Rochester Business Alliance, formerly the Rochester Chamber of Commerce and Industrial Management Council, and the local office of KPMG, a global accounting firm, sponsor the Top 100 program. KPMG collects the nominations, verifies the information and calculates the rankings. One hundred and ninety companies were nominated this year, and the winners were honored this past Tuesday at a luncheon held at the Riverside Convention Center.
