Each year, Zeller Electric schedules 10 paid holidays.

Vacations

Zeller Electric has a Paid Time Off (PTO) policy, which allows employees to take paid time off for vacation, illness, religious observances, or other personal reasons.

Health Insurance

To aid employees in covering the cost of medical care, Zeller Electric offers a Health Insurance Program. Full-time employees are eligible to join our group Health Insurance Plan immediately upon hire.

Dental Insurance

Our company recognizes that regular dental care is essential to good health but there may be times when needed dental work is put off because of cost. With this in mind, we offer eligible employees a dental insurance program designed to encourage preventive and remedial dental care. Full-time employees are eligible to join our voluntary Dental Insurance Plan immediately upon hire.

Life Insurance

A group life insurance policy is provided for eligible employees. Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage is included in this group policy. Full-time employees are eligible for this insurance coverage after completing three months of employment.

401K

Zeller Electric provides eligible employees with a 401(k) Retirement Plan. This plan, which may be used in combination with your Social Security benefits and personal resources, will help to provide you with income for retirement. Employees are eligible to join our 401(k) Retirement Plan immediately upon hire.

Profit Sharing Plan

Zeller Electric provides eligible employees with a Profit Sharing Plan. This plan, which may be used in combination with your Social Security benefits and personal resources, will help to provide you with income for retirement.

Short Term Disability

A loss of income due to disability can be destructive to a family’s security. For this reason Zeller Electric provides eligible employees with Short Term Disability Insurance. This insurance program is designed to stabilize your income in the event that you are disabled due to pregnancy or an off-the-job injury or illness. All employees who cannot work due to a non-job related disability are covered under this short term disability insurance program if they meet the eligibility requirements of the New York State Disability Benefits Law.

Long Term Disability

Income protection is vital to anyone disabled for a long period of time. For this reason, Zeller Electric offers eligible employees a Long Term Disability Plan, which provides income protection during extended periods of disability. Full-time employees are eligible to participate in this plan after completing three months of employment with Zeller Electric.

Tuition Assistance

Zeller Electric is interested in helping you improve job related skills. Your tuition will be paid in full when, in Zeller Electric ’s judgment, the courses are either directly related to your job or will prepare you for greater responsibility. Full-time and part-time employees who have a satisfactory level of performance, as determined by Zeller Electric , may apply for tuition assistance.

Employee Assistance Program

On occasion, personal problems may arise Usually these problems are resolved with the support of relatives and close friends. But sometimes, you or members of your family may find that you would benefit from the assistance of a trained counselor. It is for this reason that Zeller Electric provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to employees and family members who may need help with personal or behavioral problems. Our EAP, which is offered through the Employee Assistance Program of Rochester, is available to all employees and their family members.

Flexible Spending Account

As an employee of Zeller Electric you may participate in our Flexible Spending Account (FSA). The advantage of a FSA is that it allows you to set aside part of your salary before taxes in order to pay for qualified medical or dependent care expenses. Full-time employees are eligible to participate in the FSA immediately upon hire.
