Intellution – HMI/SCADA Software
Intellution and VSG Enviromation have successfully developed solutions for customers using Intellution Fix, Fix ACE, Fix DMACS and Fix Dynamics MMI SCADA software products. There are numerous applications where VSG Enviomation has used Intellution products.
Job Histories:
Water Filtration – Owasco, NY A personal computer workstation located at the filtration plant, configured with FixDMACS, functions as the plant local supervisory station. It displays the status of three (3) packaged water filtration units, the remote raw water pump station, finished water reservoir, clearwell and distribution pumps, two (2) remote storage tanks and a remote metering vault. Workstation interfaces with the plant Modicon PLC based distributed control system and radio/leased line telemetry system via a Modbus Plus communication network.
The workstation also provides automatic dialer software for paging via telephone and a maintenance management software package. Remote control software enables operators and service personnel to observe plant operating status via phone modem using a personal computer. Data is shown in graphical and tabular formats and communicates with other Microsoft applications for calculations and reporting. Reports include forms filled with automatic and manually entered data.
Hydrostatic Testing Facility – Turbine Manufacturer – Schenectady, NY Intellution FixDMACS was employed as the MMI for a multistage, high pressure hydrostatic pressure test facility. Operators and supervisors enter operating test requirements, via the MMI, to control and monitor test progress and results. A Modicon PLC monitors and regulates cell pressures in accordance with pre-programmed sequences and operator entered test parameters. The MMI software provide graphic information and enable exporting of data to other plant quality and production databases.
